The ITIL® v3 Foundation Bridging Course

One-Day course

Delegate Prerequisites: 
This one-day Bridging Course will introduce the key components of ITIL® v3.  It will cover the key differences between v2 and v3 and explain how Service Management is evolving.
Following the course, delegates will be able to sit the ITIL® v3 Foundation Bridge examination.  This consists of 20 questions and will take 30 minutes.  The examination will start at approximately 16.45.

Aim and Objective: 
This course will develop a basic understanding of the ITIL® v3 lifecycle approach, including all core components and key considerations for implementation, operation and improvement. Throughout the course the differences from and similarities to ITIL® v2 will also be highlighted and explained. At the end of the course delegates will:

  • Understand the lifecycle approach to Service management
  • Understand the changes to ITIL® Service Management
  • Be able to relate ITIL® v3 processes to their current situation
  • Be eligible to sit the ITIL® v3 Foundation examination
